    The Opportunity

    Flocor Inc., is subsidiary of Deschenes Group Inc. and a leader in the industrial pipe, valve and fitting distribution industry. We are searching for a Warehouse Employee for our Quebec City, QC Warehouse site. The individual is responsible for the daily movement of product, materials and machinery inside and outside of the warehouse facility using a combination of manual and mechanical means.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse environment. This position is responsible to complete customer orders, receive incoming shipments, re-stock inventory, pack and load orders for shipment and complete all necessary documents. Computer literacy and attention to details is required.

      Responsibilities

    • Locate and pick product and materials as per customer order requirements, use computer information or paper documentation to build order to completion, tag/label and prepare order for shipment, ensure all documentation relating to customer order is complete and filed
    • Follow daily delivery schedule to ensure orders are picked and completed on time and in proper sequencing for efficient loading
    • Load trucks, load in proper sequence for efficient delivery, ensure all product/material loaded is secure and safe prior to vehicle movement
    • Unload trucks, ensure correct documentation is received and completed, receive and re-stock inventory, verifies accuracy of product/material match with labels, bins/shelving/storage locations, places inventory in correct location, advises of any errors or discrepancies

      Responsibilities

    The Opportunity

We are searching for a Sales Manager for our Eastern Canada region; the position is located at our Montreal Branch. The successful candidate will maximize sales of the region, from Ottawa to the Maritimes through the development of new and existing accounts. The individual will be primarily responsible for the overall product sales and the development of an increased customer base throughout the complete Region. In addition, this individual is responsible for managing the outside sales and inside sales staff in the Region and for liaison between customers, sales personnel and administration. From time to time this individual will participate in aspects of Region and Branch activities.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience in pipe, valves, fittings and industrial sales environment and will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our customers. Excellent verbal and written skills (both French and English) and computer literacy is required.

      Responsibilities

    • Assist the Regional Manager in the determination of profit and loss relating to the sales activities of the Region; manage margin levels for maximum profitability and control costs and expenses; reports financial data as required/requested
    • Participate in the creation of the annual sales budget for the Region; forecasts sales, estimate market share, highlight opportunities for market growth and product diversification; document year over year sales
    • Gather, analyze and report on information concerning general price levels, new product introductions and competitive activity in the market; monitors selling expenses, new promotional program investments and the Company’s service levels in the Region
    • Assist in determining sales goals and initiatives for Region; , perform territorial analysis and plan to maximize the number of effective sales calls, coordinate product marketing efforts with marketing manager

    Qualifications

The successful candidate will maximize sales within Dorval and surrounding areas and will generate new and existing accounts. The individual will be primarily responsible for the development, servicing and maintenance of our customer account base and meet various sales targets.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience with an emphasis in industrial, mechanical and fire protection products. The incumbent will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our customers. Computer literacy and bilingual in French/English is required.

      Responsibilities

    • Work in the field making calls and attending industry events to develop close relationships with key decision makers among existing and new customers
    • Resolve customer/client issues/or problems liaise with inside sales, credit and warehouse
    • Develop and implement follow-up strategies for specific projects and ongoing basis
    • Focus on consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while also providing accurate sales forecasting

    The Opportunity

    Flocor Inc., is subsidiary of Deschenes Group Inc. and a leader in the industrial pipe, valve and fitting distribution industry. We are searching for an Outside Sales Representative for our Office and Warehouse in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The successful candidate will maximize sales within Winnipeg and surrounding areas and will generate new and existing accounts. The individual will be primarily responsible for the development, servicing and maintenance of our customer account base, and to meet various sales targets.

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience with an emphasis in water works, fire protection, and mechanical products. The incumbent will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our customers and will have a good grasp of water treatment and waste water management. Computer literacy is required.

      Responsibilities

    • Work in the field making calls and attending industry events to develop close relationships with key decision makers among existing and new customers
    • Resolve customer/client issues/or problems liaise with inside sales, credit and warehouse
    • Develop and implement follow-up strategies for specific projects and ongoing basis
    • Focus on consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while also providing accurate sales forecasting
    • Communicate with customers providing or coordinating customer service, quotes, and dispute resolution by building strong relationship between the customer and Company
    • Developing and servicing existing and new customers, to gain and sustain long term relationships between clients and the company
    • Prepare sales forecasts for the next selling year; review sales results with the Regional Manager on a monthly basis or as required/requested
    • Territory planning, calls and route planning to maximize sales
    • Identify, target and acquire new customer accounts
    • Accountable for monitoring client/customer creditworthiness, reporting irregularities to credit department and Regional Manager
    • Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as require/requested
    • Assist on the order desk as required/requested
    • Remain current in company product
    • Prepare and generate reports as required/requested

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in customer service/sales capacity in related industry in the capacity preferably with background knowledge in mechanical/industrial pipe, valve and fitting
    • Proven business development skills
    • College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering Technologist (CET) or a related discipline
    • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blue prints is an asset
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal and negotiations/problem solving skills
    • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
    • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
    • Ability to grasp and communicate the technical aspects of the company’s products
    • Possess an intermediate level of computer competency with Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and web based applications
    • Good mathematical skills
    • Self-starter, well organized with ability to multi-task and execute a plan of action
    • Must be able to self-manage and prioritize goals with minimal supervision
    • Available to travel on a daily basis, some overnight travel as required/requested
    • Possess valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
    • Must be able to meet all travel requirements within and outside of Canada
